Mandarin and banana smoothie

 

Kick off your day with an amazing burst of vitamin C with this delicious tasting smoothie. Low in calories and high in nutrients! 

Ingredients 

  • 1 Ripened banana
  • 5 mandarins 
  • 1/2 cup of low fat vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 
  • 1/2 cup of ice 

 

How to make it 

 

  • Peel and chop the banana and the mandarins and place in a freezer bag for one hour
  • Place the frozen Banana and mandarins in the blender with the yoghurt, lemon juice and ice and blend until smooth.

Once blended pour this delicious smoothie into a glass and serve with or without a straw. This is a great  healthy and low calorie way to start your day.
